Visitors Guide
Hello Guests!
We are so glad to have you visiting our website and would love to have you visit our congregation at a worship service or Bible Class. You will find the schedule on our home page. We also have events happening throughout the week, so check our calendar for upcoming events.
If you visit a worship service you will find that we have chosen to worship our gracious Lord in a formal, liturgical way. The liturgy we use has its roots in the church of the first centuries. An examination of our liturgy will reveal that it is Scripture set to music with a special indebtedness to the book of Psalms. We prefer to worship our Lord by means of a formal liturgy to make clear that our worship of God is neither casual nor worldly, but very special and sacred.
We proclaim Jesus Christ, both God and man, as Lord and Savior. We believe the Bible is entirely God’s Word, divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and completely without error. It’s teachings, therefore, cannot be adjusted to fit human reason and convenience or ignored. We leave political and social advancement to the sphere of our individual responsibility as Christian citizens, while in the church we concern ourselves with our God-appointed business: the salvation of immortal souls through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.
